Hallelujah, Praise God, Thank You Jesus

When I was younger, my sister and I were taken to the beach by my grandmother to watch her church members get baptized. Back candy boat, a big gust of wind came and blew her hat and wig out the window. And my Nana said: "Hallelujah, Praise God, Thank you Jesus." I asked her why she was thanking Jesus after her wig flew off. She said, as she grabbed the scarf from my sister to wrap around her head: "I am so happy it did not happen on the beach." This is an example of joy in your heart and living in hard days. If your inner Avante-Garden is beautiful — has joy — then not many things can bother you outside. These new hard times are affecting all of us badly. We sat and watched as big sores developed in our minds. Separation was mandated. Save up, loomed, manipulation, lies, and the presentation of Karens infecting our mentality and hate nested in our patriotism. Instead of growing closer, the divisiveness pierced our connections leaving us to trust no one. This is the time that we will look back and say that I could have done my part to help our community. The world just determines if we are ready to be a part. I have found something that worked for me that I will share. If you wish to find the story that helped me, I'll hide it in plain sight. Maybe I can help change the way someone looks at life and this will help others they encounter. When things go so easily — which they seldom do — so hard, sad. Starting with governments and wars and the pandemic, an attack on our governing body. The revelations of being lied to, the hardening greed and exposure to more racism that I felt everywhere when the truth is evidently the opposite. It is about how through all the struggles and the heightened cultural awareness and brokenness of everyone, you can still find joy. His search for it. And since everyone's joy is different then it is your responsibility to find your joy.
