In the second book, I'lon will try to unite the other enchanted creatures in the other realm with her. They will learn that they have more in common than they thought — and that love can heal all things.
The I'lon is a Karma Faerie. It is her job to bless a person when they do something good for someone else. This won't be revealed until the second book.
The story is a book for kids in the 5th and 6th grade. It teaches patience, but more importantly, it teaches them to still trade — to give even when you don't have enough, because you will still be rewarded.
The protagonist is I'lon, a Blaerie girl (black faerie) who somehow ends up in another realm by herself. She still believes in blessing people, which is what she was taught. But if she uses all of her powers, she knows there is a possibility of turning to stone. What does she do?
She gives. She blesses. She uses her powers, knowing she may be emptied, knowing she may turn to stone. Because giving is its own reward. Because love can heal all things. Because if you are taught by a great family, it's even better.
This is the artist's vision of the gallery. Every visitor arrives alone — in another realm, isolated, with a certain amount of emotional fuel. And the gallery asks: what do you do? Do you hold back and stay safe? Or do you give — give your energy, give your willingness, give your standing before what you cannot control — knowing you may be emptied?
The gallery's answer is: you give. You give even when you don't have enough. Because you will still be rewarded. Because love can heal all things. Because the wings never leave. Because the path may be long and steep, but through the walking, the heart becomes pure and true.
The second book unites the enchanted creatures from different realms. They learn they have more in common than they thought. This is the artist's vision of the visitor: the visitor comes from the human realm, fast and distracted, and through the gallery, they discover they have more in common with the enchanted world than they thought. They discover that love can heal all things. And if they are taught by a great family — or even by the walls of a great gallery — it's even better.
